Anyway, when I come over I've always wanted to find some 'british' specimens, because of small differences in colour, as well as that in the S. of France the Adder isn't present, nor the smooth snake. Ok, I wanted to know of the nearest place antone knows to Grove Park (in Lewisham) where I might have a chance on finding Adders. Thank you for any info. What I don't get is why people kill reptiles... It always seems to be them (the reptiles), never over hunting of sparrows or mice even... Adder are still fairly abundant in Kent (though in general decline due to development, isolation etc.), perhaps it would be an idea to contact KRAG Daniel if you would like more information on seeing adder in Kent?
